  5. The Degree Audit module is integrated with the Registration module and is
  6. designed to enhance the academic and advising function by allowing the student
  7. and advisor to continually update a student's academic progress (student
  8. academic record versus degree requirements).  The Degree Audit module produces
  9. a Planner, Forecaster and an Analysis of Electives.  The Planner segment
  10. totals the number of students who need to take various courses by semester or
  11. term.  The Forecaster segment projects enrollments in courses for the upcoming
  12. semester by major, etc.  The Analysis of Electives function lists the courses
  13. taken by the student to satisfy each elective by major, or as needed in the
  14. degree program.
